Verifying Your ID Using Jumio
To verify your ID with Jumio, you will use the link sent to your email and follow a simple process that checks your identity through your ID and a selfie. After opening the link, you agree to continue, choose your ID type, and use your device to scan the front and back of your ID. The camera will capture the images when they are clear, then you take a selfie and upload everything. When the steps are complete, Jumio will confirm that your information has been submitted.
Important: This process is time sensitive. The ID verification link expires 15 minutes after it is opened. It is highly encouraged to have your IDs ready before completing the process.
How to verify your ID
Follow the steps below to verify your ID.
- Check your email for the one-time link sent to verify your ID using Jumio.
- Copy and paste the link to your browser.
- Click the I consent checkbox to agree and accept data sharing, then tap Start to proceed.

- If you’re using a desktop, tap Choose issuing country/region, then Select ID type to continue with verifying your ID.

- Alternatively, you can also click Use mobile phone for a couple of options:

- Scan QR code: scan the QR code to open the application and use your mobile device to verify your ID.
- Send link by email: enter your active email address to open the application through a link and use your mobile device to scan and verify your ID.
- The application will ask for the FRONT and BACK sides of your ID.
Note: Once the camera is in focus, pointing to the ID, it will automatically capture the image for you. - After scanning your ID, the application will ask you to take a selfie.
- Upload both front and back images, including your selfie, to the Jumio system.
- Once complete, the page will automatically tell you that your entries have been uploaded successfully.
