How To Set Default Page Priority
- Log in to your Control Panel.
- Go to .htaccess Editor.
- Click Default Pages.
- Select the directory for which you want to set custom default pages (the Filenames field shows the priority list for the currently selected directory).
- Use the interface to modify the priority list:
- Add A File
- Enter a filename.
- Click Add.
- Click Save.
- Reorder Files
- Select a filename.
- Click Move Up or Move Down.
- Click Save.
- Remove A File
- Select a filename.
- Click Remove.
- Click Save.
- Add A File
Note: Clicking Reset will return the list to its previously saved settings. Clearing the list of all filenames and then clicking Save will return it to the default settings.
Important: Your customized settings will be inherited by all subdirectories of your selected directory. However, any custom settings for those subdirectories will override their parent directory's settings.
