How To Set Default Page Priority

  1. Log in to your Control Panel.
  2. Go to .htaccess Editor.
  3. Click Default Pages.
  4. Select the directory for which you want to set custom default pages (the Filenames field shows the priority list for the currently selected directory).
  5. Use the interface to modify the priority list:
    • Add A File
      1. Enter a filename.
      2. Click Add.
      3. Click Save.
    • Reorder Files
      1. Select a filename.
      2. Click Move Up or Move Down.
      3. Click Save.
    • Remove A File
      1. Select a filename.
      2. Click Remove.
      3. Click Save.

Note: Clicking Reset will return the list to its previously saved settings. Clearing the list of all filenames and then clicking Save will return it to the default settings.

Important: Your customized settings will be inherited by all subdirectories of your selected directory. However, any custom settings for those subdirectories will override their parent directory's settings.
